About Us |

Brief History of the CRR CRR was founded in 1983 by New Hampshire citizens concerned with the financial and environmental implications of the Seabrook nuclear power plant. CRR was formed with the intent of appealing to the broadest possible constituency and initially worked to demonstrate that the Seabrook plant would raise electric rates and destabilize the electric power industry. We have grown into a strong and respected advocate for fair, affordable and reliable electric service. We have successfully advocated before the Public Utilities Commission, won a landmark case before the NH Supreme Court affirming our right to represent customers, advised the state legislature, and represented ratepayers before numerous state and federal government agencies.
